Motorcoach Employee Safety Recognition Program

This highly successful program is designed to recognize employees for the number of consecutive years worked without a preventable accident or preventable injury. Employees are awarded items to be worn on their uniform, on their person proudly displaying their achievement.

Participation

Employees can participate on their own even if their company does not participate as a whole. The following is an example of how an employee becomes eligible and advances to each award year level.

Eligibility

Eligibility begins on the employee's start date. When the employee is charged with an accident or injury, that employee is not eligible to accrue time until the next anniversary of either the last safety award earned or the employees start date if no award has yet been earned.

Example 1:

An employee received a 4-year award on June 15, 1995. On January 23, 1996 that employee was charged with a preventable accident. The employee will be ineligible to accrue time towards his five year award until Jun 15, 1996 the anniversary of his last award.

How it Works

Companies will print out this document, the sheet containing the award artwork (click here) as well as the order form (click here).

The company will then post these documents in an area where drivers and mechanics can easily see them.

When an employee determines that they are eligible for a certain award they will print and complete the order form, (click here) obtain their managers signature (for authentication) and fax it to 936-582-1590.
